TRIO Student Support Services serves 160 students who are low-income and first-generation college students and who may have a disability. They have a 20 year history of keeping students in college so they can graduate from UT, partnering with offices to work with individual strengths and needs, promoting independence and providing opportunities to develop leadership skills. 

We know students from disadvantaged backgrounds have endless needs like not having food to eat, not having safe and adequate living conditions, not having enough money to buy books and supplies, or not having reliable transportation to and from their classes. 

We want to make sure TRIO SSS students feel like they belong and are welcome here at UT. 

From April 16-23 we are raising money to benefit the students and programs of TRIO SSS. Your advocacy, support, and generosity can make a world of difference

to all students, no matter how big or small.
